What started as one man’s vision in 1992 is now a global network with +16.000 members in 16 countries, who together represent more than 8.000 businesses and 70 professional areas.

2008

The very first peer group outside of Denmark was launched. Sweden became the first branch on the international tree.
2020

Today, EGN is one of the worlds largest providers of professional peer groups, operating in 15 countries around the world! And our newest addition to the family in 2020 is the United Arab Emirates.
1992

EGN was established in 1992 in Svendborg, Denmark by Jeanette and Jørgen Galsgaard. The idea came when Jørgen, working as a Finance Manager at the time, was faced with a difficult challenge, and he wanted to find someone who could provide insights. This led to him starting the very first peer group for Finance Managers.
1996

The first peer group for IT managers was launched, and in the coming years, more and more segments were to follow: Logistics, Sales, Marketing, Procurement and Executives.

EGN is proud to be part of the world’s largest peer advisory and executive coaching organization. Together, EGN and Vistage will now serve nearly 45,000 members in 35 countries worldwide, grounded in the framework of trusted, confidential peer advisory groups and the wisdom from highly experienced Peer Group Chairs.
