ANTARA News: Volatility, AI top challenges for leaders in 2024 - EGN Indonesia
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Executives' Global Network (EGN) Indonesia, a peer-based network of executive members, has identified the geopolitical landscape, economic volatility, and artificial intelligence (AI) readiness being the main challenges for this year.
Co-founder and managing director of EGN Indonesia, Dona Amelia, said that AI and other digital technologies stand out as pivotal trends to anticipate this year, as emphasized by EGN Indonesia's members in the survey.
“This is why we place significant emphasis on carefully selecting discussion topics for our peer group meetings and workshops,” Amelia said in a statement from EGN Indonesia on Wednesday.
The goal is to make sure that EGN Indonesia's members can gain valuable insights to help them navigate emerging trends and challenges, she added.
A recent survey has identified the political landscape and economic volatility as the foremost concerns for this year.
The survey has also highlighted that challenges such as the availability of skilled labor, the global recession, and a deficiency in readiness to adopt AI technologies are among the prominent issues that businesses may face this year.
