Since November 2022, ChatGPT has taken the world by storm! Generative AI has generated plenty of hype and attention all around the world. Every respectable tech company is launching a generative AI driven solution. With so much possibilities in front of us, there are also plenty of risks that experts are discussing.

How do CEOs lead in such a world? What needs to change? What do leaders need to more or less? How will Generative AI change the way we lead and in running successful businesses?

About the speaker: Ricky Foo - Partner & Director, Mercuri Urval 

Ricky Foo is the Partner & Director of Mercuri Uval, based in Singapore. . He leads the Board & CEO Practice for MU in APAC. He is responsible in driving international business and managing key accounts in the Asia Pacific region. His key expertise includes delivering strategic and complex executive search and leadership advisory assignments across different industry sectors. He is part of the APAC Leadership Team of MU, and he is a keynote speaker to MNCs. He has been organizing the CEO Seminar in Singapore since 2015.

Panel Speakers

Andrew Seit is the CEO of Yong Shen Food Industries and co-founder of two AI start-Ups, Robobai.com and Search365.ai. He started his professional career in Cardiology, Royal North Shore Hospital, and later in SingTel / Optus and Microsoft. After years in the technology industry, he heard the higher calling to come home, and he is now a second-generation CEO of the family business of 50+ years, spending more time with aging parents and ushering the business as it takes its initial steps in Digital Transformation. 

Charu Mahajan is a Partner and ASEAN leader for IBM Garage, where she helps companies accelerate their digital transformation journeys, drive innovation, and culture transformation. She manages IBM's corporate venture capital program in ASEAN, leading investments in highly strategic companies with interests and ambition aligned to IBM's growth vision. Her areas of focus are hybrid cloud, product and platform engineering, and sustainability. With more than 20 years of end-to-end strategic consulting experience globally, she works with the C-suite and Boards of leading companies to address their most pressing strategic challenges.

Richard Jones is an IT practitioner who started his career in the airline industry. With a 20-years career spanning across 4 countries, he has worked with many technology companies such as Business Objects, Informatica, and Cloudera. In recent years, he has worked in AI companies such as Dataiku and Katonic.ai. He has a proven track record of accelerating market development, customer engagement, sales productivity, and predictability for disruptive and innovative solutions. Today, he is a Board Advisor, Investor, and Scale Up Partner at ESG Data Capture Platform. He helps companies to capture data down to categories 3 and 4 to provide organizational insight and enable better decisions.

Wanyi Weng is a serial entrepreneur in Singapore's public service. She has created two new units in the Singapore Police Force and she was part of the Science and Technology Agency for Home Team (HTX). Today, she is the Director of National AI Office, which is part of the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office (SNDGO). She is experienced in implementing organizational and digital transformation, and she is passionate about the confluence of public policy and technology.
