We live in a dynamic work space and pace which demands inclusive thinking, cultural competence and conscious collaboration. Unless we evolve and embrace diversity and change, we will not effectively and impactfully expand, engage and excel. But having a diverse workforce alone cannot guarantee job satisfaction and team collaboration. So then, how can we create an inclusive and equitable workplace where employees feel motivated, heard and truly belong?
Join Senela Jayasuriya as she takes us on a thought-provoking yet simple journey to #EmbraceEquity. Her talk presents an important foundation to drive awareness around equity in the workplace and how without equity, focusing on diversity and inclusion will not be as effective and will not suffice.
Senela inspires us to explore how as leaders and individuals, we can see, think, and act in new ways, be mindful about the barriers, and ’embrace the challenge of embracing equity’. When organisations treat employees fairly and make them feel included, everyone wins. From this talk, you will be able to:
understand why we must focus on transforming our organisations to fit all people
gain practical take-aways to consider in your efforts to make your organization geared to truly #EmbraceEquity.
